The weight of a roll depends on its width, length, thickness, density. Or then again, the length of a roll depends on its weight etc. In other words, when you change any input many of the other inputs become outputs and their values change. There have to be some assumptions about priority, so inputting weight affects only length, not density. Feel free to play with whichever inputs and outputs are helpful for you.

The Thickness Comp. Fact. is explained in the User's Manual. It allows you to correct for compressibility of the web (or inclusion of trapped air). Because accidentally setting this away from its default of 1 can cause problems, it is highlighted in pink for values <0.9 or >1.1.
