Quick Start

Extracting meaningful data from a plot of sorbed material versus activity (an isotherm) has been a great source of confusion, with a 80+ proposed isotherms and a whole IUPAC classification system.

It turns out that isotherms can be described in a clean, understandable, unified manner via statistical thermodynamics. Starting with the STSA (Stat Therm Surface Area) as a replacement for BET surface area, a set of isotherm apps will be provided to explain the (easy-to-implement) theory and allow users to load and analyse their own datasets
